MugsarFest – Rockdale

MugsarFest – Rockdale
Solstice December 12017CT

Note: because the new Mugsar home is slow loading (or doesn’t load at all at some libraries like Rockdale because the programmers have a Sumerian dictionary as a non-educational site – even though the true etymology of the operative word itself, education, is Sumerian – and there would be no library unless the Sumerians invented writing!) a copy of the MugsarFest page appears here at the original introductory information site.

Anyway, to the inaugural international MugsarFest – it is being planned for the Solstice 22 December 12017CT. A small venue in the fledgling year might possibly be at the new Rockdale (next to Sydney Airport) Library complex. Down the track we are thinking of utilizing the large area where Tara plays netball – the St George Netball Association courts on West Botany. They really need an indoor facility anyway – so many games get washed out as Sydney’s rainy season (June) is right in the middle of the main comp. So the international MugsarFest would be an excellent way to attract sponsors and funding.

It will have a varied program, including sales/auctions of signs on the Mugsar Sumerian Cuneiform Dictionary and actual works created by students for the MugsarFest and workshops – like how to write on clay; prizes for best clay tablet works, and may be even replicas of famous Sumerian clay tablets, like the Gilgamesh Epic.

How To Really Impress Someone
We all know the name of the game, especially with marketing to consumers and careers, is encapsulated by the simple, but critical phrase, “How to really impress someone.”

Now. like the Sumerians conveyed their concepts with images on tablets, the Mugsar conveys it with the modernday equivalent, digital images. One of our key markteting taglines is based on the fact that the Mugsar is the ultimate way to impress someone, and that such an audacious statement actually has credibility, and can be tested with Google.

So, we put it out there starting with the simple animated gif below. Imagine someone glances at your screen, and don’t see some brainless gameapp, instead thus:

So where do you think it now ranks on Google Images – remembering this was not an iPhone7 promotion, we had no $zillion advertising campaign like Apple.
